Who doesn’t love veggie burgers and fries?
If you want something fancier, try a pasta dish.

What I like to make is homemade pizza.
What you need:
2 cups unbleached all purpose flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
12 oz. beer
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Combine all ingredients. Dough does not have to rise at all, but will be fairly wet and sticky. Press into oiled cookie sheet (12 x 18 or slightly smaller works well). If it seems too sticky to work with, sprinkle a little flour on it as you pat/press it into the pan.
Top with your favorite sauce and toppings. Bake 20-25 minutes or until dough is browning and crisp around the edges.
Voila! Enjoy!
Serves: 4-6
Preparation time: 30 minutes
P.S. Don’t worry about it being an ‘alcoholic’ pizza. The alcohol in the beer will not survive the temperature of the oven. But if you’d like to use something other than beer, try malt beer. It’s alcohol free.

The real question is whether you should at least warn them will not be satisfied with vegetarian approximation to what they expect for dinner and the real question is whether you will not to cross your threshold again if they expect for dinner can understand your threshold again if they finish dinner and the vast majority.

HAYSTACKS!
Haystacks is a great vegetarian dish that non-vegetarians like too. If you don’t know what it is it’s kinda like a taco salad (another choice you could go with)
It’s a build your own plate kinda thing but this is pretty much the basics of it:
Frito/Tortilla chips
Pinto beans
Cheese
Lettuce
Sour cream
Tomatoes
Onions
Olives
Avocados
Salsa
Cilantro
You don’t have to put on all of that stuff but the base of it is the Frito chips and the pinto beans. If the guys really want meat they can fry up some ground beef in a separate pan and put it in place of the beans or along with the beans. You can build a haystack as big as you want so with a college boy’s racing metabolism this should be rather satisfying.
