Vegans are not “vegetarians”, they are vegans! Your question is akin to asking Mormons why they worship the Pope!

Vegans and vegetarians have one major thing in common..neither eat meat but vegans do not use any animal products at all (wool, honey etc)

because a switch flipped in my head one day…eating a cow is like eating your dog… and i couldn’t and don’t want to eat meat ever since……
seriously…what is the difference between one animal and another? how can we say this one is food…but this one is a pet?
